  • Raceline Wheels Dominates Two Northern Nevada Events

    GARDEN GROVE, CA    JULY 27, 2010:  Chris Ridgway took the checkered flag at Octane Fest, and Kevin Yoder placed first in the Ultra4 class of the Xtreme Outlaw 250 race.

    Chris Ridgway battled against JT Taylor, Mike Turner and Jesse Haines at the 2010 Octane Fest TUFF-CUP Pro Arena Rock Racing on a GP style track with strategically placed tires and logs as obstacles.  All four rock racers were sporting the Monster Raceline Wheels.  JT Taylor qualified with the fastest time, which put him on the pole position and Ridgway next to him.  JT Taylor took the hole shot, but in the third and final lap of the main event, Ridgway cut to the inside and passed JT Taylor in the corner just before they got to the set of tires.  Ridgway confirmed the lead hopping over the tires and the logs first.  “It was a clean pass, and a lot of fun racing on this style track,” said JT Taylor.   • Roger Norman First Short Course Race at SuperLite Invitational During Octane Fest

    RENO, NV     JUNE 17, 2010  – Roger Norman competed in his first ever short course race last weekend in a SuperLite truck at the SuperLite Invitational during Octane Fest in Fallon, NV.  “These were so much fun to drive.  I think I am hooked!” said Roger Norman.

    The SuperLite single seat rotary engine spec trucks compete in the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing series and made a special appearance at the Octane Fest with a first ever Invitational style race.  Roger Norman was asked to compete against nine other drivers including John Harrah, Chuck Dempsey, Jeff Ward, Ricky Johnson, Johnny Greaves, Cameron Steele, Carl Renezeder, Brian Deegan, and Jeremy “Twitch” Stenberg.  “It was quite a line up of drivers, and it was funny to think that I was the rookie among them.  Can’t say I have used that term lately,” Norman laughs.   • SuperLite Trucks With Top Motocross and Desert Racers Take to the Track at Octane Fest

    FALLON, NV JUNE 1, 2010:   Octane Fest is a three day event including a Speed Technologies SuperLite Truck Invitational with top racers including John Harrah, Jeff Ward, Ricky Johnson, Johnny Greaves, Jeremy McGrath, Carl Renezeder, Brian Deegan, Jeremy “Twitch” Stenberg and Roger Norman hitting the track on Saturday night under the lights.  No race of this magnitude has hit the Northern Nevada area!   • Octane Fest Super Truckfest Attracts Glimmering, Mud Slinging, Rubber Burning Action

    FALLON, NV    APRIL 21, 2010: Octane Fest has events that you can pull your prize possession truck out of the garage, or out of the weeds, and bring out to play.  The super truckfest allows you to clean it all up for the 2nd Annual Mad Metal Truck Show & Shine, then tear it up at the Mud Drags and finish off the weekend putting some rubber on the asphalt Sunday at the Top Gun Speedway at the Diesel Drags. The weekend will also be packed with SuperLite Trucks, Rock Crawling, Monster Ride trucks, TUFF-CUP Pro Arena Rock Racing, Tuff-Cross (Arena Enduro Racing), Motocross, Tuff-Truck, Top Gun Raceway Lucas Oils NHRA Drag Racing, Rattlesnake Raceway Dirt Track IMCA Modified races and the Hurricams Car Show and Shine.   • Octane Fest Throws Big Rocks for CalROCS Rock Crawl and Tuff-Cup Pro Arena Rock Race

    FALLON, NV    APRIL 14, 2010: Octane Fest will be throwing big rocks on the ground for extreme CalROCS Rock Crawling and Tuff-Cup Pro Arena Rock Racing at the Fallon, NV fairgrounds arena June 10-13, 2010.  The weekend will also be packed with SuperLite Trucks, Mud Drags, Monster Ride trucks, Tuff-Cross (Arena Enduro Racing), Motocross, Tuff-Truck, Top Gun Raceway Lucas Oils NHRA Drag Racing and Rattlesnake Raceway Dirt Track IMCA Modified races.

    The two-day Rock Crawling event will be sanctioned by CalROCS who has a history of producing sophisticated courses for the pros, yet still competitive for the amateur to try their skills and participate.  Glenn Bonner from CalROCS stated “I have been working with Ty on the facility which will give all drivers the ability to have a great weekend of rock crawling.”  There will be plenty of action with the schedule including 3-4 courses per day per class.  This is a non-series points race for the CalROCS competitors.
