    OMIX-ADA TO GIVE AWAY FULLY-LOADED JEEP® AT OFF ROAD SUCCESS CENTER DURING 2014 SEMA SHOW

(October 7, 2014) – Omix-ADA, a leading manufacturer of high quality Jeep®, truck and off-road accessories, announced today that it will use its Off Road Success Center (Booth #34000) at the 2014 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas on November 6 as the host site for the giveaway of a fully-loaded Jeep.

    Visitors to the SEMA Show will have a chance to win and drive away in a brand-new, fully-equipped Anvil Blue 2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon as part of the company’s participation in this year’s show. 40 semifinalists will be selected over the course of three days (Nov. 4–6) leading up to the giveaway for the chance to try to start the Jeep using a temporary key they received after entering the contest.     Ermey, a Vietnam veteran and American actor, best known for his role as the no-nonsense Gunnery Sergeant Hartman in Full Metal Jacket, will serve as the face of the company at events across the country and in promotional materials. In working with “The Gunny,” Omix-ADA will make use of the Jeep’s history as an all-American go-anywhere fighting vehicle with a well-recognized, decorated veteran who has personal experience with the brand.     Rugged Ridge Jeep JK Inverted Drag Link - product only (High Res)Suwanee, Ga. (July 22, 2014) – Rugged Ridge®, a manufacturer of Jeep® off-road accessories and suspension kits, today introduced its new inverted drag link for 2007-2014 Jeep JK Wranglers. Specially designed to fix steering geometry issues that plague lifted Jeeps, the new design reduces bump steer and increases ground clearance; keeping vital steering components out of the way from rocks and other obstacles on the trail.

    Jeep’s original design has the drag link mounted from the bottom of the passenger side steering knuckle, leaving the drag link especially vulnerable to trail damage. Using Rugged Ridge’s new design, owners drill out the original steering knuckle mounting hole and relocate the new inverted drag link over the top of the knuckle using a connecting sleeve, gaining precious ground clearance.
