RENO, NV – NOVEMBER 2, 2010: The Speed Technology team will be pulling down the strip of Las Vegas on the way to the Lucas Oil Off Road Race this weekend at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. John Harrah and Jeff Ward are prepared to take on the competition and have strong feelings for a championship win. “Every race I get more and more in synch with the truck and the tracks,” said John Harrah. “I am very excited to go out and race again this weekend, and am very proud of the team overall.”
Speed Technologies Jeff Ward’s Pro 2 Unlimited and John Harrah’s Pro 4 Unlimited trucks are new for this season and they have been working closer and closer to the front of the pack. After Rounds 11 and 12 in the scorching September Arizona heat, Jeff Ward moved up two positions to 8th overall in the Pro 2 Unlimited class, and John Harrah is currently 11th in Pro 4 Unlimited class.
The other Speed Technology class drivers are working just as hard. SuperLite driver Dawson Kirchner, sitting 6th in overall points, is pressing hard to get onto the podium while in Las Vegas. Wyatt Kirchner, who premiered in the SuperLite Class in Arizona, will be getting more time behind the wheel for the Speed Technologies team.
First in his class is the Speed Technologies Modified Karts Class driver Mitchell DeJong. Mitchell has been consistent all year at putting the Speed Technology team onto the podium.
