When first opening its performance products store in 2009, Roush Yates created an extension of its championship-winning engine technology to include everything from engine parts to chassis components. The popularity of the move spread so quickly that massive foot traffic and product demand required a recent expansion to a new 40,000 square foot new and race proven parts facility.
According to Bucky Gregory, Roush Yates Performance Products’ Vice President of Sales, safety products, in-general, has proved to be a significantly in-demand aspect of the company’s business. To that end, Roush Yates has reached a distribution agreement with Impact by MasterCraft Safety to create a 1,500 square foot safety center within Roush Yates Performance Products’ Mooresville, N.C. retail center. This partnership will continue Roush Yates’ goal of offering “one stop” shopping for drivers and pit crews throughout the racing spectrum.

The safety center will be staffed with personnel well versed in the intricacies of critical safety matters such as helmet fitment, custom race suit measurements, and choosing the proper restraints for specific genres of racing.
