Portland, OR (8/27/14) — Bushwacker, Inc., a manufacturer of exterior truck and automotive accessories, will be presenting its inaugural Founder’s Award at the 2014 SEMA Show in Las Vegas on November 6 at 3:00pm in the Bushwacker booth (#30017) in Las Vegas Convention Center’s South Hall.
The idea behind the Founder’s Award is more than simply recognizing an outstanding truck/SUV at the SEMA Show—it recognizes a builder’s passion and dedication to the automotive aftermarket. Bushwacker appreciates the incredible effort and commitment involved in building a SEMA vehicle. Months of blood, sweat, and tears are poured into many of these trucks and SUVs, only displayed at the show for only four days. Yet every year, builders from around the world toil over these rigs to present new, fresh, ground-breaking ideas that will further the aftermarket. And while these trucks often live on after the event, displaying a truck/SUV at the SEMA Show is a badge of honor.
It’s this commitment and spirit—the unrelenting drive to be an innovator; the idea of pushing form and function envelopes—that has fueled the automotive aftermarket for years and continues to spur innovation. And because of this, Bushwacker wants to recognize a truck/SUV builder for their contribution to this industry.
The Founder’s Award will be presented by Bushwacker’s Founder, Jerry Logan, and will be given to the builder of the best truck/SUV at the show as judged by our panel of industry professionals and journalists. The winner will receive $1,500 and a custom trophy.
