Episode Guests: RCV Performance Products Josh Ortigiesen, WFO Racing Pat Sims, Cal 4 Wheel Amy Sagraves, and Tech and Tools Maintaining Your Offroad Vehicle

MESA, ARIZONA MARCH 29, 2015: Bower Power Hour often gets the behind the scenes look at many of the companies in the off-road community, as well as thorough descriptions of what products are for. This week’s episode is no exception as Bower Power Hour goes behind the scenes at RCV Performance Products, one of the leading axle producers in the offroad. Not only do viewers get the pleasure of peaking behind the scenes, but guest Josh Ortigiesen addressed the complicated issue of spline and diameter relationships.

This week’s Bower Power Hour guests are Josh Ortigiensen from RCV Performance Products and WFO Racing’s Pat Sims. Then Amy Sagraves of Cal 4 Wheel joins our Land Use segment and 30Pack Matt closes the show with another Tech and Tools. Josh gets into the nitty – gritty of building offroad axles, including how the spline relationship to diameter works. Pat focuses on the up and coming Spec Trophy Truck Class that many racers are now gravitating towards, and Amy emphasizes the importance of volunteer work in the land use fight. 30Pack Matt ends the show with some helpful oil and grease tips and proper offroad vehicle maintenance in this week’s Tech and Tools.

“It amazing how many calculations go into creating the perfect axle for offroad vehicles. You often hear terms like, spline and diameter, but it seems they’re never fully explained,” said Charlene, Host and Executive Producer. “I think Josh did an excellent job of addressing the more complicated parts of axles. It was also great to hear Pat’s stories from Baja, the Spec Trophy Truck class is coming up through the ranks fairly quickly and it’s definitely something I think we will see more of in the near future. Amy brought up some excellent points in this week’s Land Use segment; volunteering is extremely important but you do have to be careful about getting burned out. 30Pack Matt had some excellent advice as far as oiling and maintaining your vehicle, this week. We put a lot of wear and tear on our offroad vehicles and it is important to make sure you keep up with maintenance to ensure your vehicle works properly.
