On August 31, 2012, the National Park Service (NPS) announced their plans to extend the Draft SEIS comment period for 30 days. The original comment period was only 45 days and ended on August 20, 2012. This extension comment period will run through October 7, 2012, according to the Park Service's Planning, Environment & Public Comment (PECP) website. If you have already commented on the Draft Winter Use Plan and Draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (Draft Plan/DSEIS) for Yellowstone National Park, you can comment again.
