Short of ARB airlocker or an Eaton Elocker what other reputable lockers are out there for a reasonable price? I've looked at the yukon grizzly and oxlocker; I'm more inclined towards a mechanically operating locking system rather than pneumatic or electrical due to potential loss of the actuation system.

Check out the OX lockers, believe they are cable operated.
I've run factory electric lockers in my 1996 FZJ80 for 280k miles and have rebuilt the actuators once in that time (around 250k). The air lockers in my BJ74 and my FToy have both worked flawlessly for 3+ years.
The yukon grizzly is a great locker, you won't have any complaints on it. Ive found they live up to broken axles much better than Detroit's. Yukon also has the zip locker which is air actuated to.
