For Jack Welch, the long fight to keep snowmobiling access to Yellowstone National Park was a public and a personal battle. As a founding member of both the Colorado Snowmobile Association and the land-access groupBlueRibbonCoalition,Welch has been actively involved in grass roots snowmobiling for 45 years. He's also been a regular winter visitor to Yellowstone, and couldn't stand on the sidelines while extreme environmental groups tried to lock out snowmobiles.
