I've seen a few posts on pirate that are obviously ancient by now (2008-2010) about machining superduty knuckles to accept a true high steer arm. Six bolts in each side. 3/8 or 5/16 cap screws hold it on. Seems like it could be a better way than just welding them on. Anyone still doing it or am I gonna have to bring that whole idea back?? I will...plenty of those parts out there.

Doesn't Jesse make a high-steer kit? I do believe it's weld-on however....
Yeah he does. Artec, barnes, offroad anonymous......a bunch do. The weld on will work no doubt. Bolts in the knuckle though, even as a fairly seasoned welder, I think that might be better. Especially with the amount of force a ram can/will put out. 40"+ tire pinned, 3" ram with a good pump, something is gonna move.
