Anaheim, CA – MaxTrac Suspension offers an innovative line of leveling, lift, and lowering suspension solutions for late-model trucks and SUVs. Ford F-150s are the best-selling trucks in America, yet lift options are limited for two-wheel Drive F-150s. Knowing that that the aluminum-bodied 2015 Ford F-150 was sure to me a hit, MaxTrac Suspension went to work developing a variety of lift solutions for late-model 2WD F-150s. The result is a whole new line of 4″-4.5″ and 6.5″-7″ lift kits for 2009-2015 2WD Ford F-150s.

The key components of the new MaxTrac Suspension 2WD Ford F-150 Lift Kits arethe spindles, which address all of the suspension geometry to ensure excellent ride and handling characteristics. Constructed of cast ductile iron, these spindles are beefed up in key areas to handle a larger tire and wheel package and are machined to precise specifications that make them compatible with thefactory control arms and wheel hubs. They are also E-coated for a durable long-lasting finish, an industry exclusive. The spindle design alters the position of the front wheel hubs and caliper mounts to gain lift, all while only increasing track width .5″ per side and keeping all of the steering and suspension geometry within factory specifications. These spindles provide 4″ of lift on 2009-2014 F-150s, and 4.5″ of lift on 2015 F-150s.

Joining the spindles with 4″ and 4.5″ lift systems are extended Kevlar-lined DOT-approved braided stainless steel brake hoses. These hoses are direct replacements for the factory pieces but have the extra length necessary to work with the lift. All necessary installation hardware is also included, making installation easy. In the rear, 2009-2014 models receive a 1.5″ lift shackle to level the stance of the truck. The 2015 models receive a 3″ block with U-bolts. Both models also include new rear twin-tube gas-charged shocks, with optional Bilstein 5100 shocks available.

The unique design of the MaxTrac spindles also enables them to be used with a 6.5″ lift for 2009-2014 F-150s and a 7″ lift on 2015 models. These systems include all of the components of the shorter lifts but add 2.5″ strut spacers to gain the extra ride height in the front. The strut spacers are fabricated from 1/4″ thick steel with stamped top plates to ensure an exact fit. In the rear, 2009-2014 models receive new blocks and U-bolts with a 1.5″ lift shackle, while 2015 models received a taller block and U-bolt combination. Like the shorter lifts, new MaxTrac rear twin-tube gas-charged shocks are included, with Bilstein 5100 shocks available as an optional upgrade.

These new lift systems offer a simple bolt-on installation with no cutting or welding required. All necessary hardware is included along with complete installation instructions. With all of the new late-model F-150 systems, MaxTrac recommends a minimum 17×8 wheel with a maximum backspacing of 5.75″. The factory wheels will also work with these systems. When using the proper wheel offset, the 4″ and 4.5″ systems will clear 33″ tall tires while the 6.5″ and 7″ systems will clear up to 35″ tall tires. Like the rest of the MaxTrac product line, these new systems are backed by MaxTrac’s Limited Lifetime warranty.
