unnamed-1.jpg February 13th – San Diego, CA – The 2015 Polaris RZR Mint 400 presented by General Tire announced today that there will be will FIVE exciting spectator areas for viewing the race this year. Spectator Areas 1 – 4 which are accessed via Goodsprings Road in Jean Nevada, and Primm Valley which will host a massive spectating area as well as the official Primm Valley Mint 400 Start/Finish Line.Spectator and VIP parking passes will be available to purchase online and are designed to guarantee the holder a parking spot at The Mint 400. The online sale of all parking passes will begin at 8:00AM PST Sunday, February 15th and run until Sunday, February 22nd at 9:00PM PST. There are a limited number of available parking spots in each spectator area and the VIP parking lot, and all are expected to sell out quickly.

SPECTATING AREAS 1 – 4
Spectator Parking Passes are required to park inside Spectator Areas 1 – 4. No exceptions. These passes will only be pre-sold online prior to the race. There will be FREE General parking at the Gold Strike Hotel in Jean, with access to Spectator Areas 1 – 4 via shuttle busses that run every 30 minutes. Spectator areas 1 – 4 will open on Saturday March 14th at 5:00am and close at 9:00pm. Your vehicle is only permitted to enter the spectator area for which you purchased a pass for.

PRIMM VALLEY MINT 400 START/FINISH LINE
VIP Parking Passes for the Primm Valley Mint 400 Start/Finish Line will be available for purchase online. These passes will only be pre-sold online prior to the race. There will be FREE General parking for spectating at the Primm Valley Mint 400 Start/Finish Line in front of BuffaloBill’s Resort and Casino, Primm Valley Resort, and Historic Whiskey Pete’s Hotel and Casino. The Primm Valley Mint 400 Start/Finish will open on Saturday March 14th at 5:00am and close at midnight.

Purchase Parking passes for one* (1) of the four Spectator Areas and/or one* (1) VIP Parking Pass for Primm Valley


*Limit: One spectator parking pass and one Primm Valley VIP parking pass per household.

Spectator Areas 1 – 4 = $10.00 each
Primm Valley Mint 400 Start/Finish VIP Parking = $25.00 each

Parking passes may be purchased for passenger cars, light and full size trucks, and passenger vans ONLY!
NO RV’s, (of any class) 5th wheel trailers, toy haulers, pop-up, travel trailers or other oversized vehicles of any kind are allowed in spectator parking areas 1-4 or Primm Valley VIP Parking. This will be strictly enforced.
One parking pass is required per vehicle.

RECEIVING YOUR PARKING PASS
All Parking and VIP passes will be mailed Monday, February 23rd via USPS with delivery confirmation.
If you do not receive your pass in the mail by March 7th, contact The Mint 400 at: parking@themint400.com
Please include your name, and order # in the title of your email to expedite this process.
There is no, onsite purchase of parking passes at The Mint 400.

PLEASE READ! IMPORTANT INFORMATION

The Mint 400 Parking and VIP passes are stickers that must be applied to the INSIDE of the upper left corner (drivers side) of your windshield prior to arriving at The Mint 400 race. Vehicles without visible parking passes will be not be granted access to parking.

WHEN TO ARRIVE
Spectator areas 1 – 4 will open on Saturday March 14th at 5:00am and close at 9:00pm.
Please do not arrive early and do not park on Las Vegas Blvd or Goodsprings Rd.

The Primm Valley Mint 400 Start/Finish will open on Saturday March 14th at 5:00am and close at midnight.
Please do not arrive early and do not park on Las Vegas Blvd or Primm Blvd.

The posted speed limit for all access roads into spectator areas is 25mph and will be strictly enforced.

Parking is first come, first served. If you plan to spectate with a group please enter the spectator area you have purchased passes for together. Due to demand we cannot allow parking spaces to be saved.

In order to ensure everyone has a parking spot – our parking attendants will guide you to a spot.
Please do not go rogue – or your parking pass will be confiscated by security and you will asked to leave.

Please do NOT park on any access roads in Jean including Las Vegas Blvd or Knight Ranch Rd.
Your vehicle will be cited and towed. Park at the Gold Strike Casino if you do not have a parking pass.

Your vehicle is only permitted to enter the spectator area for which you purchased a pass for.
Once parked inside your designated spectating area, you may not drive to alternate spectator areas.
Shuttles will be available to move between spectator areas.

LEAVE NO TRACE
There are port-o-potties in each spectator area. Please help us keep these clean. Do not put trash in them.
BBQ’s are permitted however please do not dispose of coals on the open desert!

There is no overnight camping at the Mint 400 either before, during, or after the event.

SPECTATE SAFELY
Do not under any circumstances leave the fenced spectator areas and travel onto the racecourse.
Drones and/or unmanned aircraft, RC toys, UTV’s, motorcycles, and/or quads are forbidden.
Firearms, fireworks, or weapons of any kind are strictly forbidden at The Mint 400.
Removal of Mint 400 and sponsor signs, banners, or signage is considered theft and will not be tolerated.

EMERGENCY CONTACT INFORMATION
There will be Mint 400 security personnel at each spectator location including the Primm Valley Start/Finish.
If you experience a medical emergency dial 911 and relay your location to EMS staff.

SPECTATING AREA DESCRIPTIONS

PRIMM VALLEY MINT 400 START/FINISH LINE
The new Primm Valley Mint 400 Start/Finish Line will feature multiple vantage points for watching the race, including a brand new short course style track, the infamous Primm “dyke jump”, and a massive tabletop “flying finish” competitors will scream across! Get up close and personal with all of the Mint 400 champions and get their autographs after they drive across the Mint 400 Podium! Visit the Mint 400 Experience and pick up official Mint 400 merchandise, delicious food and cold beer, and check out all the interactive displays by Mint 400 sponsors Polaris RZR, General Tire, Red Bull and more! Access via Hwy 15, Exit 1 “Primm BLVD” (Primm) and head East, then follow the signs for free parking. Spectating, The Mint 400 Experience, the Primm Valley Mint 400 Start/Finish Line and VIP parking area are located directly behind Buffalo Bills Hotel and Casino.

Spectator Area 1
This is the largest spectating area of The Mint 400, and features a mile long, high-speed straightaway that Mint 400 competitors blast through at lightening fast speeds. Access via Hwy 15, Exit 12 “Goodsprings Road” (Jean) and head East, then turn left (North) on South Las Vegas Blvd and look for “S1” signs.

Spectator Area 2
The “Rigid Industries Quarry” is one of the most popular spectator areas on race day. It features a slew of jumps, turns, and obstacles and contains over five miles of grueling Mint 400 racecourse. It features a fantastic overview of all the Mint 400 off-road action. Access via Hwy 15, Exit 12 “Goodsprings Road” (Jean) and head East, then turn left (North) on South Las Vegas Blvd and look for “S2” signs.

Spectator Area 3
This spectator area features a sandy high-speed section and slight left hand turn, that puts vehicles on the edge! Access via Hwy 15, Exit 12 “Goodsprings Road” (Jean) and head East, then turn left (North) on South Las Vegas Blvd and look for “S3” signs.

Spectator Area 4
Known for it’s high-speed passing zone with monstrous whoops, this section of the Mint 400 course was at one time the final stretch heading into the finish line. Access via Hwy 15, Exit 12 “Goodsprings Road” (Jean) and head East, then turn left (North) on South Las Vegas Blvd and look for “S4” signs.

MINT 400 SPECTATOR AND PARKING FAQ

Do I need a parking pass to spectate at the Mint 400?
General parking and spectating at Primm Valley is FREE.
General parking at the Gold Strike Hotel in Jean is FREE.
There is a FREE shuttle service from the Gold Strike to S1 – S4.
You must have a dedicated S1/S2/S3/S4 parking pass to park in those areas.
There is NO onsite sales of S1/S2/S3/S4 parking passes.

Can I park in any spectator area with my pass?
No, you must park your vehicle in the area you purchased a pass for.
Example: If you purchase a “S1” parking pass, you must park in Spectator Area 1.

What if my spectator area is full?
If you have a spectator parking pass you have a guaranteed parking spot in that area.
Each spectator parking area has been carefully measured to ensure adequate parking.

Can I park anywhere inside the spectator parking areas?
In order to ensure everyone has a parking spot – our parking attendants will guide you to a spot.
Please do not go rogue – or your parking pass may be confiscated.
We work very closely with the BLM to safely manage this event and the environment.

Can I bring my RV, 5th wheel or Toy hauler?
Free general parking for oversized vehicles is available at Primm.
However, only cars, trucks, and vans are allowed to park in S1 – S4 and/or the Primm VIP parking area.
Please do not bring RV’s, 5th wheelers, toy haulers or trailers to S1 – S4 and/or the Primm VIP parking area.

What if I want to spectate in a different area than where I parked?
Shuttles will be available to transport spectators between each of the spectating areas.
Wait times may vary from 15min to 45 minutes depending on race traffic.

Are their bathrooms and trash bins in spectator areas?
YES. There are port-o-potties and trash cans.
Please do not put anything in the port-o-poties except TP.
Please help us keep The Mint 400 affordable by cleaning up and disposing of your trash.
