Turns out, Trailforks is doing a "ride every day" challenge for July....so I'm trying...
Monday, July 1, Wichita Falls TX
5+ miles on the Wee-Chi-Tah system...some nice elevated sections mixed in, nothing terribly challenging but it was fun.

July 2, Amarillo....my original plan was gated, so I found the Canyon Trails at Buffalo Hill....meh... old gravel pit I'm guessing, minimal elevation change, but I got 7 miles in wandering thru.... picked up a friend for the last two!!

July 3, Raton NM...elevation and lots of exposure for the win!! This isn't ridden much, but it was tight with lots of steps and drops....combined with long drops. Walked a bit, but it was a good 3.5 mile ride at 7000'.

July 4, Royal Gorge....6500' elevation....nice 7 mile ride on two trails ... first started with 15 minutes of straight downhill... fortunately, the uphill wasn't unbearable!

July 5, Oil Well Flats just N of Canon City CO....fun singletrack, rocky and sandy, but pulled all almost 7 miles. May need to ride again this weekend to get in some of the other loops.
That looks like so much fun! Did your better half enjoy some of that scenery?

She's a hiker, not a biker....this level of MTB would have killed her...lol
Ended up with 34k of climbing on the month, and 200 miles. Took August a bit easier, but getting back into Sept riding very soon
