Hello, from northern CO,
Im a 4x4 mechanic at 4x4 Offroad in Fort Collins, I have an 83 Toyota on 37in reds with lots of mods, i love to wheel the hardest trails i can find. Big trip comming up in may to South Dakota, anybody familiar with Kaptian Krunch?

Cap't Crunch is an AWESOME trail...ran part of it in my FJ40 a few years back...I was the first in and it will challenge about any rig (and other than the Bowels of Buzzworm, I believe it's the current hardest accessible trail in the Black Hills)

You'll love it I would be sure to trailer to the trail head tho...I drove about an hour there in my rig, wheeled Fruity Pebbles and then the first 1/2 or so of CC and then drove the hour back...poor rig was not happy (especially with the July temps!)

Cool, we trailer and are ready for the knar! Its hard to tell how hard a trail is u havnt seen, and i hate hearing, oh that trail is too hard for u, and it always comes from jeep guys. Toyota power!

I've got a HZJ75 Land Cruiser pickup that might turn into something like that...too rough to restore, and already pulled a bunch of parts for another build...

Have you done the Indy trails down here in southern Colorado?

Indeed, just indy tho, havnt played on the others, it was hard till the big boulders got put in on coffin rock and the exit still had the fence, sweet trail all the same, next time i think we are going to night run it
