It's a 96 Ranger with a mostly Ranger based drivetrain (though everything has been replaced multiple times, haha). Explorer 4.0, M5OD trans with the deeper 3.0L gears in it, BW1350 / 1354 doubler.
Front end is a narrowed HP D44 that's geared and locked with chromos. Radius arm setup with high steer. Previously coil sprung - currently under the knife getting coilovers.
Rear end is a 31 spline disc brake 8.8. Same story - geared, locked (OX selectable), with Dutchman shafts. Chevy 63" leaf springs.
I'm currently on my 4th set of 37's and don't plan to go any bigger. It goes down the road awesome, doesn't attract too much attention, keeps the 1/2 ton stuff alive (for the most part) and it keeps things interesting on the trail.
