So I have a Trail gear HD full hydro set-up.....TC style 1650 pump, Works good no issues, BUT when at idle and at lock out either way it will stall out my motor (Manuel Trans/Small motor). If I go to a smaller pulley size if it even exists, will this spin faster and maybe help this situation? Or am I just thinking about this wrong? Maybe just cav the pump? Anyone try this? Thanks
What about adjusting your steering stops a little bit so it'll stop you from bottoming the cylinder out? I know we all like as much steering as we can get, but shouldnt lose to much. I've never had this problem, just running it thru my head and throwing it out there...
Just a follow up on this, after I did a little looking around I think I had it backwards. Needed a bigger pulley to help low rpm and pump will not stall out motor. I had a 4.5inch pully and went up to 5.5inch pully. Swapped it out and tested it.......seemed to help, not a complete fix still boggs down a little but defiantly helped the situation out from completely stalling right away! I'll take it!
