Project: Navajo Lake Rd/Pinks Trail Project
Location: Utah

Description: This project was funded by Can-Am Off-Road. Can-Am has committed to funding trail stewardship projects in partnership with Tread Lightly! to help maintain and improve access to public lands and off-road trails.

On September 15, 2023, Tread Lightly! with support from Can Am worked with the Cedar City Ranger District to complete a trail access project on Navajo Lake Rd#035 and Pinks Trail. Forest Service and Tread Lightly! employees worked to clear overgrown vegetation along Forest Road #035 and dugout steps along the foot path for better access to all types of public land enthusiasts.

Thank you to the partners who made this possible:

“Thank you Can Am and the Dixie National Forest for believing in the Tread Lightly! mission. Projects like this one support access to all and we should all take part in giving back to the places we enjoy. Without the support of our members and partners, these trail conservation projects would not take place.”- Evan Robins, Tread Lightly! National Stewardship Program Manager
