Project: Ozark-St. Francis National Forest Big Piney Signage Project

Description: This project was funded by the Quadratec 50 for 50 Initiative. Together with Tread Lightly!, Quadratec has committed to fund a project to improve off-road trails and public lands in each state over 24 months.
On March 23, the Big Piney Ranger District of the Ozark-St. Francis National Forest installed 18 Tread Lightly! signs to help communicate responsible ethics and behavior in the National Forest. With the funding and support of the Quadratec 50 for 50 grant program, Tread Lightly! was able to provide these signs to help Protect The Adventure for future generations of forest-goers.

With the rise in popularity, resource damage is more prevalent and requires intentional engineering and education measures to limit potential impact.
