Tubes for red labels

I got a red label with great tread and a hole in the sidewall I had the hole vulcanized it was fixed with glue tread previously. The tire shop didn’t wanna do it because they say it been ran flat and is trash. Said possibly I could put an inner tube in it but had no recommendations for tube size. Anyone know of a tube in the 42 inch range for a 20 inch wheel?

No suggestion on tubes but........ how big is the cut in the sidewall? I've had some pretty big gashes vulcanized with good success. I did NOT have good success with Gluetread. Gotta do the hot vulcanizing to make it last.

It’s at the vulcanized right now he said he can fix the hole but he says the tires junk because it’s been ran flat and will leak throughout the tread

Ahhh bummer. If it’s just small leaks maybe try Green Slime?
