The season opener of the Nitro Gear & Axle WE Rock Rockcrawling Western Series presented by Maxxis, Sponsored by Fly-N-Hi Total Performance Center, in Bagdad, AZ was a huge success. The local copper mine went above and beyond helping getting the event site set up for this rock crawl. They brought in heavy equipment to clear brush to expose beautiful natural rock formations. This allowed "Big" Rich to set up some gnarly courses with high risk climbs and drops. Drivers really needed to plan their runs, to decide if they wanted to take those bonus lines or the standard gates. "Big" likes to make the drivers think, often setting standard gates that seem easier until you get through it. All of this made for an exciting weekend that wowed the Bagdad locals and the fans that had always followed WE Rock at Congress, all are excited to see what’s to come next year.
