Clackamas, OR (12/5/16) – The employees of Warn Industries via the Warn Employee Community Impact Project (WECIP) donated $11,086 to the Clackamas Service Center on November 16, 2016. The Clackamas Service Center is a local non-profit charitable organization that offers food and other resources to support the path towards self-sufficiency to people in Clackamas County, Oregon. Some of the services this organization provides to hundreds of individuals and families each month include emergency food boxes, hot lunches, evening meals, clothing, medical and dental services, mental health counseling, housing, and social security assistance.

This contribution was supported in part through a matching grant initiative by the philanthropic arm of Warn Industries’ parent company, Dover Corporation. The Dover Foundation helps to support not-for-profit organizations, causes, and/or projects that benefit the local communities in which its operating companies are located.

“We are pleased to have selected the Clackamas Service Center as this year’s organization to benefit from this program in our community,” said John Stransky, President of Warn Industries, which is headquartered in Clackamas. “The WECIP team has done a fantastic job raising money for the Clackamas Service Center, and Dover Corporation’s generous match let us give back even more to our local community.”

Warn Industries’ Bryon Borntrager, Engineering Manager and WECIP member, presented Debra Mason, Executive Director at the Clackamas Service Center, the check for $11,086 on November, 16. The organization has since used the funds to pay for renovations and bathroom upgrades at the facility. This included new drywall, flooring, and code compliance.

WECIP is composed of Warn Industries employees who contribute money via voluntary payroll deductions and hold regular events, such as bake sales, lunch barbecues, t-shirt sales, and spring plant sales to raise funds for the program.
