The weather during the 49th Annual Moab Easter Jeep Safari couldn’t have been better and Team Four Corners 4×4 was there to take in the entire experience! BLACKFOOT, ID MARCH 30, 2015: Now a common end to the Moab Easter Jeep Week, Dirt Riot is back at AreaBFE for the fourth year. Dirt Riot adds a racing flavor to the trail-riding week. Pro 4400 4×4 racers, trail rig class and UTV classes race a course that is spectator friendly and fun to watch. Or, if you want to race, there is a run-what-you-brung+safety class to compete in! Racing Saturday April 19th Starting at 9am in Moab, UT at AreaBFE
PLACERVILLE, CA APRIL 14, 2014: For the third year running, Dirt Riot will be at AreaBFE in Moab, UT on Big Saturday April 19th. The pre-registered driver list confirms the day of racing will be spectacular. Everyone that has wanted to race a 4×4 endurance race is welcome to come and participate starting with Tech and Registration on Fridaynight at AreaBFE, followed by Racing all day Saturday. For UTV’s and Stock Trail class the only requirements are Solid Roof, Doors or Door Bars, 4 Point Harness, Two Fire Extinguishers and a DOT approved Helmet. “The spectator areas for this race allows you to see all of the top bowl area plus you can look off into the lower sections,” said Rich Klein, President and founder of W.E. Rock Events. “We are really encouraging those that are in town for Easter Jeep Safari this week to come and have a good time racing, the Trail Class is some of the best grass roots racing around…and there is a cash payout! Guaranteed good time!” Sunday W.E.Rock Events will host the first ever All-Terrain Hero Race * Run * Walk.
Clackamas, OR (4/9/14) — Warn Industries is heading to Moab for the Easter Jeep Safari, a trip the company has been making for over 25 years. Moab has been a proving ground for WARN winches, hubs and other off-road products.
Recently, WARN ran a promotion on their Facebok page (www.facebook.com/warnfans) to submit a story and photo of the fans rig to be able to join the WARN Social Media run during the week. A dozen lucky jeepers were chosen to join the core WARN crew, Jessi Combs and Shannon Campbell for a full day trail ride, including lunch and goodies. The Off Road Business Association help its first open Board of Directors meeting in many years at the 2013 Easter Jeep Safari in Moab Utah. Timed during the Industry show the event was well attended by industry leaders. While not open to the general public, the meeting was broadcast over the public address system so that all in attendance could listen in. Topics included the Johnson Valley OHV Fight with news of official support from Congressman Cook announced after a mid day phone conversation with ORBA President Fred Wiley. Wiley reported that Congressman Cook would be exploring the Alternative 4 Hybrid proposed by the Save The Hammers effort within the California Motorized Recreation Council. (more…)

March 11, 2013 – Del & Stacie, Team Albright and AreaBFE announced today that Team Albright of Mokelumne Hill, California has signed on as an Official Landuse Ambassadors of the AreaBFE Off Road Park near Moab Utah. Team Albright will work closely with the group that established the park in 2004 to ensure the private land remains open to all, 365 days a year. In addition to helping promote AreaBFE’s world class venue year-round, Del & Stacie plan to be on site for the annual Easter Jeep Safari. (more…)
Following the 2005 Easter Jeep Safari in Moab Utah Jeff Knoll and his family read an article in the Moab newspaper about an environmentalists named Sara Melnicoff who was cleaning up the amazing mess left by off roaders who chose to party at Potato Salad hill. Knoll and family presented a challenge to keep the area clean the following year which the online 4 wheeling community has spun into a yearly cleanup and proactive approach to management of the area during safari.
