    SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – (May 25, 2011) – The beautiful sunny and clear California weather didn’t disappoint this weekend, and neither did the action-packed Round 5 and 6 races of the Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series at Glen Helen Raceway May 21 and 22.  Team General Tire’s Carl Renezeder stormed the podium, taking first in Pro 2 and Pro 4 Saturday, followed by first in Pro 2 and second in Pro 4 Sunday.   • Torchmate Racing SuperLite Driver Dawson Kirchner Puts Truck in First Place

    RENO, NV     MAY 24, 2011   The Torchmate SuperLite Championship Truck driven by Dawson Kirchner went all the way to first place on Sunday at the 6th round of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series Round at Glen Helen Raceway in San Bernardino, California.  The win topped off an exceptional race weekend. “This was my second win in a SuperLite truck, I am really excited to be back on the podium!” said Dawson Kirchner.

  • ROCKSTAR Energy Drink’s Rob MacCachren Finishes On The Podium To March Forward In The LOORRS Point Race

    Most of the 17 professional off-road drivers in Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series’ (LOORRS) premier Pro2 Unlimited class are ecstatic if they ever manage to reach the podium.  ROCKSTAR Energy Drink’s Rob MacCachren holds himself to a higher standard though, constantly striving to be the best at whatever he does.  This iron will has allowed “Rockstar Rob” to earn three consecutive Pro2 Unlimited short course racing championships in as many years.  Coming into last weekend’s racing at historic Glen Helen Raceway, MacCachren was fifth in season points and looking to move forward in the rankings.
  • Will History Repeat Itself For ROCKSTAR Energy Drink’s Rob MacCachren At Glen Helen?

    During last year’s stop at Glen Helen Raceway for the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS), ROCKSTAR Energy Drink’s Rob MacCachren won both rounds of short course racing and set the fast lap for the weekend in his ROCKSTAR Energy / BFGoodrich Tires / MasterCraft Safety truck.  Coming into the first of two weekends at Glen Helen this season, MacCachren has already established himself as a force to be reckoned with as he has qualified first for every Pro2 Unlimited race this year.  Not only has “Rockstar Rob” put down impressive qualification times, he also claimed the victory during the last two rounds of racing at Speedworld Off Road Park, as highlighted on Youtube.  Will history repeat itself with another clean sweep for Rob Mac?

  • MAKITA’S OFF ROAD RACE TEAMS SET TO TAKE ON GLEN HELEN Southern California track is a focal point for off road industry and racers

    May 19, 2011 – La Mirada, CA – The Glen Helen round of the Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series is always one to get excited about, with much of the  industry and majority of  the drivers being from the Southern California area including Rockstar Metal Mulisha Makita’s Brian Deegan and the Rockstar Makita LeDuc Racing team of Curt, Todd, and Kyle LeDuc.

    This weekend’s racing will mark rounds five and six of the series, and Brian Deegan comes into this event in second place in ProLite and Pro 2.  2011 is Brian’s first full season in the Pro 2 class and he has adapted extremely well to the new challenge by finishing on the podium several times thus far.  In ProLite, “The General” is still the man to beat and as a former champion, is looking to capture another championship.  He will face some stiff competition however from the Rockstar Makita ProLite truck of Kyle LeDuc.  Kyle is a former champion as well and is hungry for a win in 2011.
