  • Eastern W.E. Rock Series Drivers Tackle the Bonus Lines

    PLACERVILLE, CA    MAY 25, 2010: The Maxxis W.E. Rock Eastern US National Series opened last weekend at the Rausch Creek Off Road Park in Pennsylvania.  “It was a good weekend of racing, but the shootout on Sunday was crazy with all the bonus line attempts,” said Bruce Shallis, Rausch Creek owner.  The bonus lines had the potential to subtract 160 points possible from scores.  Amazingly there was only one lead change, but many separated their lead significantly.     [singlepic id=191 w=320 h=240 float=left]If you play at all, you are going to flop your RZR…if you play hard, you are likely to do a full roll.  And if you’ve spent any time researching on the internet, you’ve seen the images of the RZR A-pillar bent to one side or the other following a rollover.  The stock RZR rollcage is not the strongest, and while plenty of high quality full replacement aftermarket options exist, there are improvements you can make to your stock cage that will greatly strengthen it and save some money…this is why I chose to install the All Terrain Research Dash Bar w/ V-Brace.   • VORRA Yerington 300 Will Parade Through Town

    RENO,NV    MAY 24, 2010:  Yerington, NV will have a parade down Main Street this Memorial Day Weekend: It will consist of the VORRA Yerington 300 race competitors on Saturday at 6pm.       The third race of the 2010 VORRA series, this weekend May 28-31, 2010 in Yerington, NV, consists of multiple events surrounding the 300 mile desert race.  “We are excited to work with the City of Yerington to put on this event.  They welcome us every year and their hospitality makes for a great weekend of racing,” said Wes Harbor VORRA series promoter.   • NITRO CHROMOLY Birfields & Axles

    Toyota Trucks & Landcruisers are well known for their strength & reliability all over the world.  Out of the box they feature some pretty great drivetrain, but they do have their limits.   The factory axles are 30 spline at the diff, but neck down to 27 spline at the birfield creating a failure point.  Additionally the factory Birfield joints are not built to withstand the added stress of larger tires and heavy offroad use.
