  • RCV Performance Ultimate AAM 9.25 CV Axles for Dodge Ram 2500/3500 deliver strength and smoothness for high-torque diesel applications

RCV Performance Products Ultimate AAM 9.25 CV Axles for Dodge Ram 2500/3500 are designed to easily replace the universal jointed front axle shafts in the AAM 9.25 axle, and have been tested to be twice as strong as the original equipment shafts. Ultimate CV Axles are simply unbreakable – even when used with modified diesel engines. They’re just as tough at a straight angle as they are at extreme angles – where u-jointed axles are at their weakest. RCV’s constant velocity design eliminates u-joint binding to allow smooth power transfer to the ground, and eradicate steering wheel shimmy. The company’s patented Spherical Sealing Technology provides much greater resistance to punctures and tears than a rubber CV boot. Ultimate CV Axles are backed with a “No Questions Asked” limited lifetime warranty. Join the RCV Revolution, and put the power down with confidence!

  • Time Penalty Drops Rob MacCachren from Second Place Overall Finish at the SCORE Baja 500

Rob MacCachren blasting through the course

MasterCraft Racing wasn’t necessarily stunned however they were disappointed by the recent announcement that Rob MacCachren’s second place finish at the 2011 SCORE Baja 500 was stripped by SCORE International over a week after the race was completed.  The No. 20 ROCKSTAR Energy Drink / MasterCraft Safety Trophy Truck is accused of stopping along Highway 3 just west of the Villa Del Sol graded road to change a flat tire, however the circumstances are unfortunately not as black and white as the rulebook.  SCORE contends that the tire change is in violation of their rules, which states “Pitting is NOT permitted on any portion of the paved highway surface. The paved highways are considered a restricted area because use of the highways is subject to permission by the Mexican Federal Highway Police.”  SCORE International is required to strictly enforce the above rule in order to stay in compliance with their permits and race licenses from the government of Baja California.

  • Rock Assault™ 9″ Seal Housing Kit

Trail-Gear’s 9″ Seal Housing Kit is machined from billet aluminum, has three o-rings on the outersurface of the seal housing, and has a double seal on the inside. The three outer o-rings keepthe outer portion of the seal housing sealed up so that no fluid can leak or flow between theaxle tube and the seal housing itself. The seal housing is tapered on the inside so that the axleshaft is lined up with the seal housing as it is installed to prevent damage to the seals or sealhousing. The seal housing itself is secured in place with a set screw so that it cannot move or bepushed out of place when the axle shafts are installed. The inside of the seal housing has twoseals installed to ensure that even while rock crawling on your side or racing at high speeds, nofluid leaks through or bypasses our seals. This will keep your fluid in your differential where itbelongs, and not on your breaks and tires where it can create a dangerous situation. (more…)
