I like that battery mounting setup....super simple....kit, or your own idea?

Big fan of the side lines of the car, especially the door openings...thinking of breaking up the straight lines of my FToy in a similar fashion...

I'll be curious to how you like the digital gauge...I oddly still prefer analog for that stuff...guess it's just what you get used to.

Yeah I like Analog as well and avoid electrical gauges every chance I get. After racing in Baja, you learn that electrical doesn't always work, even with a well loomed and routed harness.

well space is an issue analog has no option for 5 in one gauge lol. plus my old car didnt have gauges,
i am literally stuffing a full size car into a rzr for the most part.

some steering stuff tacked in. also front and rear detroit locker and 6.17 r&p installed. plus chromoly shafts and super joints, along with east coast gear supply drive flanges

should have links and heims tomorrow. maybe a roller by tomorrow night. my gas pedal is actually mounted to my engine. and its from a toyota lol. wilwood brakes should be here tomorrow also. to answer your question woody my battery got sat there to hold up the drivers seat so i could start placing things and seeing what it will be like. and after stuffing 100 pounds in to a 5 lb sack i decided it fits well there and strapped it down

Alright I know it's been a while. Things have been crazy busy. I got it all burned in, took it out for some test and tune and blew the motor. It was a 130k junkyard motor. I suspect it was on its way out already.
After a trip to Ogden and another 900 bucks I got a fresh motor with 16k on the clock from a totaled 05 Malibu
Went back out locally had zero issues. Following weekend we did a sand hollow trip with a bunch of great friends and just killed it! I climbed stuff on wet ground that my old rig wouldn't do on dry ground. This thing has serious power! Try shooting "you gotta be nuts" when it's wet! Absolutely a blast. Found a transmission leak I gotta fix. Otherwise 100 percent!

ok a couple updates. new motor is working great. got a new 4 in 1 gauge from summit racing. started work on the hood metal and fiberglass mixture. will eventually be complete fiberglass. also got the grill in place and extended the "frame" to the grill per werock pro mod rules. i still need to build the removable bull bar, window net, fire suit, extinguishers and im ready to go!!!!

well i got the front winch mounted, JM Rigging got me set up with winch line front and rear, i got the grill mounted and the hood altered and fiberglassed and off to body and paint shop.
i did a last min check on clearances and loaded up for 2017 winter jamboree. 3 days of trail riding. every year i lead buggy trails rated 8, 9, or 10 and have a blast.
this year we caught some rain sprinkles the first day, got soaked the second day and by saturday the rain stopped and the sun shined for a little bit.
we ran chain reaction, dekleined, joint effort, nasty half, and front range.
found out i need more fluid in the trans i got sideways on dekleined in the snake pit and couldnt move, had to be winched back. i also found out i need to add a little strenth to the rear axle truss it bent a little.
sami got some seat time. i got to be the only one to climb a few spots. i found the rev limiter and used it a few times. very impressed with the rig had many admirers.
