Hoping someone on here can help me figure out, or is running the same set up that Im putting together. I have searched, read, and watched videos till I'm crossed eyed.... lol
What I have going on, is a GM KP60 and a newer '07 11.5" 14 bolt with discs. Front and rear are stock calipers, big single piston fronts, and dual piston rears. I'd like to stay with a manual brake set up if possible, as space is getting tight. Rectangle square tube chassis, 4 link front and rear (114" WB). A 5.3 LS with a cam/push rods and the heads touched up a bit. Th350 with a 2700 stall, and a 203/05 set up. Planning on 5.13s or .38s, and 42" Sticky Treps. Skinned to look like a FJ45(ish). No idea what it weighs, but I know its not going to be the lightest thing out there by far.
What Ive figured so far, and this is where I hope you guys can help, is a 9:1 pedal set up from Busted Knuckle, but thats where the confusion comes in for me. Master cylinder(s). Can I run a 7/8" for the front and a 1" for the rear? Stay with the single, big bore GM master that I have on the shelf already? I know I can call Wilwood, Busted, etc, but there's so much conflicting info out there, that I hope someone can give me a no shit answer on what they've done, and what works.
