I ended up doing the live coverage, which was tons of fun, but eliminated any chance of pics. Had a good turnout, tho I know a few competitors wanted to attend that ended up with last minute issues due to travel or build progress.

I've listened to a few of Rich's podcasts....good way to learn more history and background on his guests outside their offroad world.
Mine dropped yesterday. Still don't recall what I said, hopefully it's all true....haha
Our Tiffin is awesome for big trips and multi-week travel schedules, but I've been wanting something "newer" for the weekend or regional short trips...so I picked up a 2015 Sprinter 2500 that's already built-ish. The 98 12v is great for SH day trips but I wanted something newer for real travel.

The stock Dana 300 works decently enough....but mine has always been a bear to shift, and even with the portals reducing the load to the case, they aren't known for strength. So, in comes the Midnight Metalworks...
Ran a few trails this past weekend.... Saturday included Nasty Crack and The ExWife. Tyler killed it on both with his non-rear-steer buggy.

Working on plumbing/routing and have planned the usual 4mm nylon vent for the axles. Ran across these as I was perusing Amazon, and am curious if anyone has run them? Obviously the bronze will eventually saturate and seep, but it won't FLOW the gear lube...a drip resulting from a slow recovery...
Anyone here? Ran Flat Iron Mesa yesterday with some friends, and planning the Vendor Show and some MTB for today. Weather is breezy and cool, but should warm up thru the week 😎
I've been wanting one of these forever... Crossfire 2x2, paired with a PrimeWeld Cut60. First cuts went perfectly, other than some operator learning.
DXF file uploads welcome, share your designs!
I made 4 of these for axle-side shock tabs supports. Corner hole for drainage, U top to clear the...
Anyone? Looking at options for my JHF build, and tons of Google searches seem to confirm that there are no issues....provided you route your lines properly to avoid heat/abrasion. I had zero issues with the nylon ARB lines in my FToy because I was cautious with my routing layout.

Simply put, the reverse idler gear roller bearing is junk, so a set of roller bearings, a new thrust washer and a new reverse gear are on order. Yay.
